Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated network test cases using Python and Py ATS. Automate functional, protocol, and regression testing. Validate L2/L3 network protocols and features. Use IXIA/Spirent for traffic generation and network validation.

Analyze logs, packet captures, and test failures using Linux tools. Debug failures and collaborate with development teams for RCA and resolution. Maintain automation code and test infrastructure using Git.

Improve test coverage and automation efficiency. Must-Have Skills Strong experience in Network Testing & Automation. Hands-on knowledge of L2/L3 protocols: VLAN, STP, ARPRouting, OSPF, BGP, HSRPStrong understanding of DHCP – DORA, Relay, Snooping.





Good knowledge of Multicast – IGMP, IGMP Snooping, PIM.

Strong

Python scripting skills for parsing and test automation. Hands-on experience with Py ATS, including Testbed YAML and Genie Parsers.

Experience in test case development and regression automation. Hands-on experience with IXIA / Spirent.

Strong

Linux troubleshooting skills, including tcpdump, logs, and network debugging. Good understanding of Git – Rebase, Merge Conflicts, branching and version control. Strong debugging, issue analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
