Physician Assistant — Clinical Operations
Chennai · Full time, on-site · Prvnt Clinics & Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd.
Working across diagnostics, therapeutics and the doctor panel. Open to Physician Assistant graduates, and to foreign medical graduates preparing for FMGE — who have a route into a Health Partner seat once registered.
About Prvnt Prvnt is a year-long proactive and preventive longevity-medicine membership, delivered with concierge-grade hospitality. Every member begins with deep diagnostics — 200-plus blood and urine biomarkers, genomics, gut microbiome, body composition, organ-age and functional testing — and is then carried through corrective, preventive and goal-based protocols for a full year, with wearable data running underneath. A dedicated Health Partner and a panel of doctors own the outcome.
Wet-lab work runs through Neuberg.
We measure before we act. We treat toward an optimal range rather than settling for “not abnormal”. And we write everything down.
The role The Physician Assistant works across Prvnt’s clinical functions rather than inside one of them. Health Partners, diagnostics, therapeutics, the panel’s synthesis work, monitoring and retesting — you are the clinical pair of hands each of them calls on, and the person who keeps a member’s data and record straight as they move between them.
You report to [Clinical Operations Lead], and your work arrives as tasks from the Health Partners, the diagnostics team and the doctor panel, each with its own clock. The Health Partner owns the member relationship and is the only voice the member hears; you work behind that line and give them what they need to hold it. It is hands-on, with real ownership of the machinery, in a practice where nobody is rushed through a fifteen-minute consultation.
What you will doDiagnostics
- Prepare baseline and retest orders from the Prvnt menu for physician approval, with the preparation and fasting instructions the Health Partner passes to the member.
- Assemble what the workup needs before it runs — current medications and supplements, prior reports, relevant history — reconciled against the member record.
- Coordinate home sample collection with the phlebotomy team, and hold chain of custody from the member’s home to the lab.
- Track results across both waves — bloods, imaging and functional at roughly 15 days; genomics and specialist tests up to 45 days — and chase the lab when a clock slips.
- File every result against our canonical ranges, which carry both the standard lab reference range and the tighter optimal target we treat toward.
- Flag critical or abnormal values to the physician immediately, without waiting for the next review.
Therapeutics
- Administer and assist with what the panel has signed off — IV therapies, injectables, device therapies — under a registered physician, with consent documented and the adverse-event protocol at hand.
- Run the checks that keep delivery safe: sourcing and provenance, cold chain, expiry, and dose reconciled against the signed protocol.
- Vitals, anthropometrics, ECG, phlebotomy, and coordination of body-composition and functional assessment (DEXA, VALD).
- Document administration and any adverse event the same day,
and escalate the moment it happens.
Health Partner and panel support
- Assemble the cross-referenced picture the panel builds from: bloods against genomics against wearable trends against history.
- Prepare protocol drafts and summaries for physician sign-off. Nothing reaches a member or a record until a doctor has approved it.
- Turn panel decisions into the orders, schedules and fulfilment steps that carry them out.
- Prepare the case pack a Health Partner needs before a member call — the current picture, what has moved, what is outstanding and with whom.
Monitoring and retest
- Watch wearable and CGM data day to day, track adherence, and surface meaningful changes rather than sitting on them.
- Run the retest cycle, and prepare the before-and-after the panel and the Health Partner work from.
The record and the task loop
- Document every decision, change and reported symptom. If it is not in the record it did not happen — a safety rule first, your own medico-legal protection second.
- Work inside the task clocks — medical panel at 4 hours, diagnostics at 24, nutrition at 48, genomics at 72 — reminding while a task is in time and escalating to Operations once it is past.
What the role is not
- You do not prescribe and you do not make independent clinical decisions. Every diagnosis, protocol and prescription is owned and signed by a registered physician.
- You are not the member’s voice.
The Health
Partner is the only person who speaks to the member — no function contacts them directly, and that includes you.
- You never quote prices or discuss commercials with a member.
- You escalate rather than guess. Not knowing is fine here. Bluffing to look competent is the one real failure.
Who we are looking forRoute 1 — Physician Assistant graduates
- BSc or MSc in Physician Assistant / Physician Associate studies from a recognised institution, with registration under the applicable State Allied and Healthcare Council where required.
- 0–4 years of experience. Strong freshers from Chennai’s PA programmes are welcome; clinical rotations count.
Route 2 — Foreign medical graduates preparing for FMGE
- You hold a primary medical qualification from outside India and are preparing for, or awaiting the result of, the FMGE (or its successor screening examination).
- You join in a supervised, non-prescribing capacity. Until you clear the screening examination and hold registration with the National Medical Commission and the Tamil Nadu Medical Council, you cannot practise medicine in India — and we will not ask you to.
- Your medical training is what the Health Partner seat is waiting for. See below.
If you are preparing for the exam: we will roster your hours so that study is possible, give you [X] days of paid exam leave per attempt, and put you alongside panel doctors in endocrinology, internal medicine,
functional medicine and genomics. Every member gets a complete workup, so you will see genomics, multi-omics, functional testing and imaging read together — rarely the case this early in a career.
Where this goesIf you are a Physician Assistant graduate Physician Assistant → Senior PA → Clinical Coordinator, with a clinical function of your own — diagnostics operations, or therapeutics delivery — run end to end, and incoming PAs trained by you. Past that the ceiling is high, because the people who understand the machine are the ones who end up running it: department head, and from there a site or a business line of your own. Every partner brand we open needs someone who knows this from the inside, and we will not hire that person from outside if they are already here.
One seat is closed to you. The Health Partner is the member’s named clinician and requires a medical degree and Indian registration. Nothing above it is closed.
If you are a medical graduate awaiting registration The Health Partner is the member’s doctor and single point of contact — the hub the membership runs through. It requires registration, because whoever holds it is the member’s named clinician.
So the path is deliberate: you join as a PA and spend the waiting period inside the machine — how a baseline is read against optimal targets rather than lab normals, how the panel builds and defends a protocol, how a member is carried through a year. Working across every function is the best preparation there is for that seat, because a Health Partner has to route work to all of them. When your registration comes through, we move you into a Health Partner seat with your own members — no re-interviewing, no starting again somewhere else.
What you need either way
- Fluent English.
- Confident with phlebotomy, vitals and basic emergency response. BLS certification.
- Comfortable in spreadsheets and clinical software — you will live inside the member record.
- Discretion, held as part of the treatment. Members tell us things they tell no one else.
We do not discuss members.
- A temperament for detail: the person who checks the sample was labelled, notices the value that moved, and writes the note the same day.
What you get
- Direct mentorship from the doctor panel, and a view across every clinical function instead of one slice of the work.
- Exposure to a diagnostic and therapeutic range almost no clinic in India runs end to end — genomics and multi-omics through to peptides, hormone optimisation and regenerative medicine — with the evidence grade attached to every recommendation.
- A practice built on doing the job properly rather than at volume.
Terms
- Location and hours: on site in Chennai, six days a week, 10 hours a day. Some member work happens at homes and partner facilities across the city.
- Compensation: set on experience and qualification, and reviewed at confirmation. A defined step-up applies on Indian medical registration and the move to Health Partner.
- Probation: three months.
- Conditions: offer subject to credential verification, references and background check.
Confidentiality and data-protection obligations apply from day one and survive the engagement.
