Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pega QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional and exploratory testing of Pega applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case design, test execution, defect management, and end-to-end application testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and Pega application workflows.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Validate Pega application functionality, workflows, rules, case management, and integrations.
- Perform impact analysis and regression testing for new releases and enhancements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and identify potential gaps from a QA perspective.
- Ensure proper test documentation, test evidence, and reporting.




- Support UAT activities and assist in issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Experience
- 5.6 to 7 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Relevant experience in Pega application testing is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Pega workflows, case management, rules, and integrations.
- Experience with API testing.
- Exposure to test automation tools will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.
