Job Summary Mastek is looking for a proficient Oracle PBCS Functional Consultant to join its Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) solutions, primarily for finance-domain clients.

The role involves working closely with finance stakeholders to understand budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting requirements and translating them into scalable Oracle PBCS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

- Gather, analyze, and document planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements.
- Design end-to-end Oracle PBCS solutions, including data models, forms, business rules, calculations, and workflows.
- Configure PBCS applications,



including dimensions, hierarchies, security, modules, and metadata.
- Develop and maintain input forms, dashboards, reports, and task lists.
- Participate in the complete project lifecycle: Requirement Analysis Solution Design Build Testing Deployment Post-Go-Live Support

Functional & Process Expertise
- Map financial planning and budgeting processes to Oracle PBCS capabilities.
- Recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Design and implement driver-based planning models, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Align PBCS solutions with budgeting, management reporting, and financial consolidation processes.
- Provide functional guidance for integration with ERP, data warehouses, and reporting tools.

Configuration, Testing & Documentation
- Configure business rules, calculations, allocations, and validations.
- Support data integration and data management activities, including data loads, mappings, and validation.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts for:

- Unit Testing

- System Integration Testing (SIT)

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, user guides, and training materials.

Required Qualifications &

Skills

- CA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of overall experience.




- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PBCS / EPM Cloud / Hyperion Planning Functional Consultant.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Oracle PBCS planning applications.

- Solid experience with

- Budgeting and forecasting

- Management reporting
- Strong understanding of FP&A; concepts, including:

- Budgeting

- Forecasting

- Variance Analysis

- Scenario Planning

- Good knowledge of

- Cash Flow

- Key Financial Metrics
- Experience with PBCS data integration and data management.
- Experience with flat-file loads and ERP integrations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud modules such as:

- EPBCS

- FCCS

- ARCS

- PCMCS
- Experience with on-premise Hyperion applications.
- Oracle EPM Cloud / PBCS certifications.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Exposure to Groovy, calculation scripts, or EPM Automate.
- Consulting experience or exposure to multi-country/global implementations.
