Job Role: Oracle HCM Benefits Functional Consultant Job Type: Contract Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate 30 Days : Hands on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the Oracle Fusion Benefits module. Candidate should have experience in Oracle Cloud HCM implementation and/or AMS support projects. Responsible for Oracle Benefits configuration, troubleshooting, enhancements, testing, documentation, and client interaction.

Should have strong functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud processes and integration points.

Key Responsibilities Configure Oracle Fusion Benefits based on client business requirements.

Analyze requirements and prepare: Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)Functional Design Documents (FDD)Test Scripts Test Evidence Documents Production Migration Documents Support Oracle Fusion HCM AMS activities and resolve client issues. Handle P1/P2 production tickets and provide timely solutions. Participate in client discussions for Enhancement Requests (ERs).

Perform impact analysis for Oracle quarterly upgrades. Conduct regression testing and validate system changes. Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams. Support reports, interfaces, and application extensions requirements.

Prepare user training materials and functional documentation.



Provide regular status updates and issue reports to Project Managers.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Advantages. Good understanding of Oracle HCM business processes.

Experience in configuring: Benefit Programs Benefit Plans Coverage Options Rates Certifications Open Enrollment Setup Knowledge of Benefits configuration flow and structure.

Understanding of integration between: Benefits and Core HRBenefits and Payroll Other Oracle HCM modules Experience with: Benefits Batch Processes Ben XMLBenefits Data Conversion Benefits Interfaces/Extracts Experience in writing Fast Formulas, especially Benefits-related formulas.

Preferred Skills Prior Oracle Fusion HCM implementation consulting experience.

Experience working in Oracle Fusion HCM AMS/support projects.

Experience with ticketing tools: Jira Service Now Knowledge of Quality Assessment / Quality Check processes.

Oracle Cloud

Benefits certification preferred.

Required Soft Skills

Strong client-facing communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to independently manage multiple tasks. Good problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred.

Oracle

Cloud HCM/Benefits certification is an advantage.
