- Handling software requests/tickets and driving them to completionn
- At least 7+ years of engineering experiencen
- Strong object-oriented programming, functional programming, and system design skillsn
- Significant experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred), React JS , Next JS.n
- Strong knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API-driven developmentn
- Significant experience designing and building scalable RESTful APIs and microservicesn
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI frameworksn
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party servicesn
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive designn
- Experience building applications from concept/design → architecture → development → production deploymentn
- Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural approaches such as MVC, MVVM, layered architecture, microservices, and event-driven architecturen




- Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, SSO)n
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)n
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesn
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)n
- Experience writing asynchronous, multi-threaded, and scalable backend servicesn
- Track record in debugging and optimizing performance (frontend & backend)n
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)n
- Strong communication skills, with passion for quality and attention to detailn
- Experience working across teams and driving alignment across multiple stakeholdersn

nExperience working with US Insurance domain (Group Advantages, Billing, Claims, Enrollment, etc.)
nFamiliarity with platforms or business processes related to MetLife, Sun Life or similar insurers will be a strong
