Role Description The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure effective workflows, timely project delivery, and high-quality service to customers. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and involves coordinating cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and managing resources to support laboratory and commercial operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring operational performance, implementing standard operating procedures, managing vendor and customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant quality and safety standards.

Manager will also contribute to planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s growth in the biotechnology sector.





Qualifications

- Operational and managerial skills: proven experience in operations management, process optimization, and team coordination in a scientific or technical environment.
- Planning and organizational skills: strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Communication and stakeholder management: effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Quality and compliance awareness: familiarity with laboratory workflows, quality control practices, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Technical background: bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, life sciences, chemistry, or a related field; exposure to areas such as recombinant DNA, metagenomics, or protein-related research is an advantage.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities: capacity to identify operational issues, analyze data, and implement practical solutions.
- Leadership and collaboration: ability to guide teams, support professional development, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Previous experience in biotech or life sciences operations in India, particularly in customer-focused environments, is highly beneficial.
