- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify the functional, physical, sensory, and developmental needs of residents.

- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each resident’s needs and rehabilitation goals.

- Provide therapy to improve fine motor skills, gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and functional abilities.

- Support residents in developing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and personal hygiene.

- Conduct sensory integration and stimulation activities where required.

- Assist residents in improving their independence and participation in daily activities.

- Recommend and train residents in the use of assistive devices and adaptive techniques when required.

- Monitor residents’ progress and maintain regular therapy records and progress reports.

- Coordinate with physiotherapists, psychologists,



special educators, caregivers, and other rehabilitation professionals.

- Guide caregivers on home-based exercises, activities, and rehabilitation techniques.

- Participate in group activities, recreational programs, and rehabilitation initiatives within the home.

- Ensure a protected, supportive, and respectful environment for all residents.

- Maintain proper documentation and follow the rehabilitation home’s policies and professional standards.

Requirements

- Master’s or Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state or national licensures/registration to practice as an occupational therapist.
Excellent empathy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
