Role & Responsibilities

- Examine patients, assess medical conditions, and provide appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

- Conduct OPD consultations and provide routine medical care to patients.

- For OBG candidates, provide consultation and management related to obstetrics and gynaecology.

- Take detailed patient history and perform appropriate physical and clinical examinations.

- Recommend and interpret relevant investigations based on clinical requirements.

- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans as per diagnosis and medical protocols.

- Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care.

- Identify emergencies and provide initial management or arrange timely referral when required.

- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, and medical documentation.

- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and follow-up.

- Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

- Follow clinical protocols, hospital policies, and skilled medical standards.
