MODULAR PRODUCTION & FACTORY COORDINATOR

We are looking for an experienced, technically strong and organised professional to coordinate between our Design Team, Modular Factory, Vendors, Carpenters and Site Execution Team .

The candidate should understand how a modular design moves from approved drawings → cut-sheets → production → procurement → QC → dispatch → installation .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. DESIGN TO PRODUCTION

- Study and understand final 2D drawings, elevations, sections and 3D designs .
- Understand modular furniture construction and identify all components required for production.
- Prepare / coordinate cut-sheets, cutting lists and production details .
- Verify dimensions, materials, finishes, edge-banding, shutters, panels, fillers, shelves, drawers, backs and skirting.
- Identify requirements for hardware, profiles, grooves, cut-outs, glass, mirrors and accessories .
- Check whether designs are practically manufacturable and installable .
- Ensure only the latest approved drawings and revisions are released to production.

1. FACTORY COORDINATION

- Act as the primary coordination point between Vyomanta and the modular factory .
- Release approved drawings and production information.
- Explain design intent and resolve factory queries.
- Follow up on production schedules and project priorities.
- Coordinate design changes, modifications and rework.
- Ensure correct materials, finishes, colours and hardware are used.
- Identify manufacturing issues before production / dispatch wherever possible.

1. ON-SITE CARPENTRY & INSTALLATION COORDINATION

- Coordinate with site carpenters and installation teams for modular and site-made furniture.
- Understand site conditions and coordinate site measurements.
- Coordinate site preparation required before modular installation.
- Coordinate fillers, end panels, skirting, supports, lofts and site-dependent modifications .




- Ensure factory-finished modular furniture integrates correctly with on-site carpentry.
- Coordinate installation sequence between factory, transport, site and carpenters .
- Resolve site discrepancies and coordinate rework / replacements.

1. MATERIAL PROCUREMENT & VENDOR COORDINATION

- Coordinate procurement of boards, laminates, veneers, hardware, accessories, glass, profiles and other materials from vendors.
- Raise and follow up on material requirements based on project schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors for availability, specifications, finishes, quantities and delivery timelines .
- Compare material requirements against approved specifications before ordering.
- Follow up on pending materials and ensure timely delivery to factory / site.
- Coordinate replacements for wrong, damaged or defective materials .
- Maintain basic records of procurement, pending materials and deliveries.

1. QUALITY CONTROL

- Check production and site work for dimensional accuracy and design compliance .
- Verify materials, finishes and hardware against approved specifications.
- Identify manufacturing and installation errors before they affect the project.
- Coordinate rectification of defects and incomplete work.

1. PROJECT TRACKING & DOCUMENTATION

Maintain a clear tracker covering: Drawing Approval → Cut-Sheet → Procurement → Production → QC → Dispatch → Installation

- Track factory queries, material requirements and pending items.
- Maintain drawing revisions and approved production information.
- Coordinate dispatch based on site readiness.
- Maintain records of rework, replacements and pending components.





MATERIAL & HARDWARE KNOWLEDGE The candidate should have practical knowledge of:
- Plywood, MDF, HDHMR and other boards
- Laminates, veneers, acrylics and other finishes
- Edge banding
- Hinges, drawer runners and lift-up systems
- Handles and profiles
- Kitchen & wardrobe accessories
- Glass and mirrors
- Shutters, carcasses, fillers and panels
- Basic modular furniture construction

Knowledge of Häfele hardware and modular systems will be an added advantage. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:

✔️ Able to read and understand detailed interior drawings

✔️ Strong with dimensions, materials and hardware

✔️ Experienced in factory and vendor coordination

✔️ Comfortable coordinating with site carpenters and installation teams

✔️ Good at troubleshooting and problem-solving

✔️ Highly organised with robust follow-up skills

✔️ Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

✔️ Willing to take ownership from design to production to site execution

⚠️ IMPORTANT

This is NOT a purely administrative coordination role.

We are looking for someone with hands-on understanding of modular furniture manufacturing, material procurement and on-site carpentry/execution .

The candidate should be able to understand not only what has been designed , but also how it needs to be manufactured, procured and executed at site .

EXPERIENCE

2–5 Years Preferred

Experience in modular furniture manufacturing, interior execution, kitchen/wardrobe production, furniture factory coordination, vendor procurement or factory-to-site coordination will be preferred.

EDUCATION

Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Civil, Production or related field preferred.
