Role Description This is a full time, on-site MEP Engineer role located in the Greater Chennai Area. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for data centres, power infrastructure, and building services projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and checking technical drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards,



and coordinating with civil, structural, and architectural teams.

The role involves supporting site execution, resolving technical issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The MEP Engineer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to meet project timelines and deliver cost-effective, reliable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, including experience in integrated MEP design and coordination.
- People with GIS substation experaiance will be advantage.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Building Services skills, covering power distribution, lighting, and building systems for infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess Plumbing and MEP Coordination skills, ensuring proper layout, routing, and clash-free installation of services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in data centres, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
