Role Description The Medical Officer role at Docthub is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Medical

Officer will provide clinical expertise, oversee patient care activities as applicable, and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Daily responsibilities may include reviewing medical cases, supporting clinical decision-making, contributing to medical content and training material for the platform, and ensuring adherence to healthcare guidelines and best practices. The role also involves participating in educational initiatives for healthcare professionals, offering input on courses,



and working with cross-functional teams to align medical standards with Docthub’s offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge in practical settings.
- Demonstrated experience in Patient Care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of clinical cases.
- Experience in Training healthcare professionals or students, with the ability to develop and deliver medical education content.
- Exposure to Surgery or surgical departments, with understanding of pre-operative and post-operative care (where relevant).
- Proven ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective clinical collaboration.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution; relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Valid medical registration/license as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and clinical accuracy.
- Comfort with digital platforms and health technology solutions; prior experience in healthcare startups or digital health is a plus.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, continuous learning, and improving healthcare outcomes.
