nWe're looking for an experienced Sr. SQL DBA to design, implement, and optimize SQL Server environments while ensuring top-tier security, performance, and availability across our database infrastructure.
n? Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate database requirements (on-prem & cloud) and recommend scalable solutionsn
- Manage backups, restores, integrity checks, and performance tuningn
- Optimize queries and indexes for efficiencyn
- Implement and maintain database security policies & compliance standardsn
- Conduct regular security audits and address vulnerabilitiesn
- Maintain high availability clusters and ensure replication uptimen
- Monitor systems proactively using enterprise monitoring toolsn
- Generate performance, usage, and capacity planning reportsn
- Mentor and guide junior DBAs and System Administratorsn

- Support and troubleshoot A.O. Smith SQL servers and databasesn




- Serve as escalation point for SQL performance/operational issuesn
- Maintain system documentation and perform capacity trendingn
- Support Azure & AWS environments as part of ongoing cloud transitionn

n✅ Basic Qualifications

- n
- Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications)n
- 6+ years of SQL experience in an enterprise environmentn
- Experience with Oracle databasesn
- Working knowledge of MS SQL in Azuren
- Strong understanding of IT security principlesn
