Job Summary We are looking for an experienced

Program Manager / Senior Project Manager

with strong experience in the

Core Banking domain

and a solid technical foundation in

Java/J2EE . The ideal candidate should have started their career in

Java/J2EE application development, technical leadership, or software engineering

and subsequently moved into

Project/Program Management or Delivery Management . The candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale banking technology programs, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, risks, dependencies, budgets and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage

end-to-end Core Banking technology programs

from initiation through implementation and production rollout. Manage project planning, scope, timelines, milestones, resources and budgets. Work closely with business, technology, architecture, product and vendor teams. Drive

Core Banking transformation / implementation / modernization

initiatives. Manage project governance, steering committee meetings, status reporting and executive communication. Track

RAID – Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies

and drive mitigation plans. Coordinate multiple technology teams working on Java/J2EE, APIs, microservices, databases and integration platforms. Understand technical architecture and provide effective coordination between business and engineering teams. Manage application development, integration, testing, UAT,



deployment and Go-Live activities. Coordinate with banking stakeholders across areas such as

Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Loans, CASA, Payments and Digital Banking . Manage vendors and third-party technology partners. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality, delivery standards and governance processes. Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective execution across teams. Provide regular project/program updates to senior management and clients. Mandatory Skills Strong

Core Banking / Banking Technology domain experience . Strong experience in

Program Management / Project Management / Delivery Management . Candidates with a

Java/J2EE technical background

are preferred. Experience managing large-scale banking technology projects. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application architecture. Experience with

Java/J2EE, Spring, Microservices, APIs

or similar technologies. Experience with stakeholder management and client engagement. Robust knowledge of project governance, risk management and delivery management. Experience with

Agile / Scrum

methodologies. Good understanding of banking applications and integrations. Banking Domain Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred: Core Banking Systems Retail Banking Corporate Banking Digital Banking Payments Loans / Lending CASA Internet / Mobile Banking Banking Transformation Core Banking Implementation / Migration / Modernization Technical Background Preferred The ideal candidate should have progressed through a career path such as: Java Developer → Senior Java Developer → Technical Lead / Architect → Project Manager → Program Manager
