About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechatronics Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to joinour R&D; team. You will play a key role in developing next-generation medical-grade IoT androbotics devices, taking ownership from concept to deployment. This is a high-impact role in anearly-stage startup, offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership and influenceproduct direction.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead end-to-end development of medical-grade IoT and robotic systems

● Design, prototype, and test mechanical and electronic subsystems

● Work on CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent)

● Develop and iterate prototypes using rapid prototyping techniques (3D printing, etc.)

● Collaborate on PCB design and system integration

● Program and debug embedded systems using C/C++

● Interface and integrate sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems

● Work with microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino

● Implement and debug communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)

● Understand and apply manufacturing processes for scalable production

● Create and maintain technical documentation (design specs, test reports, SOPs)

● Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables

● Lead and mentor a small team (3–4 engineers and interns)

● Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and operations teams





● Report directly to the CEO on project progress and milestones

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, or a related field

● 2–3 years of hands-on experience in mechatronics or embedded systems development

● Proficiency in at least one CAD software

● Strong experience in embedded C/C++ programming

● Practical experience with electronic systems, sensors, actuators, and motors

● Familiarity with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)

● Understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)

● Experience in rapid prototyping (3D printing, etc.)

● Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for production

● Basic understanding of PCB design principles

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

● Experience working on medical devices or regulated products

● Exposure to IoT system architecture and cloud integration

● Familiarity with product certification standards (ISO, CE, etc.)

● Experience in startup environments or fast-paced R&D; teams

● Knowledge of ROS2, Gazebo will be an added advantage
