Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Fitter role based at Archid Ply Industries Limited in Muzaffarnagar.
The Mechanical
Fitter will install, align, and fit mechanical components and assemblies on production machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine and scheduled maintenance, and supporting preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime. The role involves operating basic machining tools when required, replacing worn parts, ensuring safe machine operation,
and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
The Mechanical
Fitter will also maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to all safety and quality standards on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fitting and working with Machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient operation of equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining, including basic operation of machine tools and handling mechanical components.
- Relevant technical qualification such as ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field is preferred.
- Experience in heavy or continuous-process manufacturing plants is beneficial.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, use measuring instruments, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-based environment.
