- Experience minimum 4-7 years in design development, and management / SPMs / Sheet-metal and Structural Fabrication field.
- Should able to lead a team for electro-mechanical product design.
- Well verse with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE, CREO, Solid Works or other).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands On experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
- Possesses strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Lean Design methodologies to optimize product development and production efficiency.
- Expert in Mathematical computing and analytical tools.
- Good Creativity and Solid analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full cycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
- Produce outline designs.
- Conduct experiments methodically, analyses data and interprets results.
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs.
- Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
- Alter and modify design with approach of product flexibility keeping in mind quality deliverables and non-compromise product specifications.
