Position: Casting Design Engineer - Junior

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer with 1-4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development. The candidate will be involved in the design and detailing of industrial machinery, equipment, castings, machined components and fabricated assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D models, assemblies and 2D manufacturing/detail drawings.
- Design and detail machined, cast, fabricated and sheet-metal components.
- Work on industrial machinery, equipment and mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare GA, assembly, fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits and engineering standards in drawings.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and part lists.
- Support DFM/DFA and design-for-manufacturing activities.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication, machining, quality and vendors to resolve design issues.
- Support NPD, design modifications, ECN/ECR/ECO and engineering changes.
- Participate in design reviews, prototype development and shop-floor support.




- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing and quality requirements.

Required Skills
- 1-4 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks OR Autodesk Inventor is mandatory.

- Basic understanding of casting components and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
