Role Description The Manufacturing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India, responsible for overseeing daily shoe production activities on the factory floor. This role manages manufacturing operations to meet output targets, ensures adherence to quality standards, and coordinates production schedules and resources.

The Manufacturing

Manager supervises production teams, monitors workflows, resolves operational issues, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. The role involves close collaboration with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime, optimize material use, and maintain compliance with company policies.



The individual also prepares regular performance reports, supports training and development of staff, and ensures that operational goals align with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to organize schedules, allocate resources, and meet production targets.
- Experience in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to oversee end-to-end factory processes and drive efficiency.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices to maintain product standards, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading production teams, including workforce supervision, training, and performance management in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze data, use manufacturing metrics, and apply problem-solving techniques to optimize processes.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, workplace compliance, and best practices in industrial health and safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in footwear or textile manufacturing, or in a similar high-volume production setting, is an advantage.
