Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manufacturing Engineer role based in Bokaro.

The Manufacturing

Engineer will oversee and optimize cement manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring production operations, analyzing process data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing engineering improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, and operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives, support equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Engineer will also contribute to standard operating procedures, support root cause analyses for process deviations, and participate in technical projects aligned with Nuvoco’s sustainability and performance goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, with experience in process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Candidates should possess skills in Industrial Engineering, including workflow analysis, productivity improvement, and resource utilization.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to understand and work with plant equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Machining or related shop-floor practices, including familiarity with tools, techniques, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in heavy industry or cement manufacturing, with knowledge of safety regulations and quality systems (e.g., ISO standards), is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to a dynamic plant environment.
