Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a solid ABAP administration background to manage and support enterprise SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in administering traditional SAP ABAP systems, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. This role is focused on system administration, transport management, performance optimization, installations, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and ensuring the stability, availability, and security of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP ABAP-based systems, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Perform SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package Stack (SPS) implementations, and system refresh activities.
- Execute homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies and migrations.
- Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and coordinate transports across Development, QA, and Production environments.




- Monitor and optimize SAP system performance using SAP administration tools and transactions such as ST03N, ST04, SM50, SM66, SM21, ST22, DBACOCKPIT, and RZ20.
- Administer SAP users, roles, authorizations, profiles, and client management activities.
- Analyze and resolve system issues related to work processes, update failures, background jobs, spool management, RFC connectivity, and system availability.
- Perform SAP system health checks, capacity planning, and proactive performance tuning.
- Administer SAP HANA databases, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and database performance optimization.
- Plan and execute SAP installations, upgrades, Unicode conversions, and release migrations.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity procedures.
