Role Description The Manager Operations – Agriculture Drones Spraying is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations of drone-based spraying services for agricultural clients. This position includes planning and scheduling field operations, coordinating with farmers and local partners, and ensuring efficient deployment and utilization of drone fleets. The role involves supervising ground and flight crews, monitoring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining operational documentation and reports.





The manager will track performance metrics, optimize workflows, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve operational issues and implement best practices. The role also includes training field teams, supporting demonstrations and pilot projects, and contributing to continuous improvement of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Experience in agricultural operations or agri-tech services, including exposure to crop spraying, farm mechanization, or precision agriculture.

- Operational management skills covering field scheduling, resource planning, workflow optimization, and performance tracking.

- Familiarity with UAV/drone operations, safety protocols, and basic understanding of DGCA or relevant regulatory guidelines (training can be provided).

- Strong people management capabilities, including team supervision, training, and coordination with on-ground staff and vendors.

- Customer-facing skills to manage farmer relationships, conduct field demonstrations, handle feedback, and ensure service quality.

- Ability to use digital tools for reporting, data entry, mapping applications, and basic analytics related to drone missions and spraying outcomes.

- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree/diploma in agriculture, agri-engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, operations management, or a related field.

- Willingness to travel to field locations, work in outdoor environments, and adapt to dynamic operational requirements.
