Skills: Mechanical Design Engineer, Thermal, ASME Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting P&IDs;, piping layouts, and mechanical engineering drawings.
- Robust knowledge of ASME, IBR, and applicable thermal power plant engineering codes and standards.
- Exposure to Heat and Mass Balance (H&MB;) calculations and their application in power plant systems.
- Experience in plant and equipment layout review and optimization, considering operability, maintainability, safety, accessibility, and space utilization.




- Familiarity with mechanical engineering design and analysis software/tools.
- Ability to review engineering deliverables, technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and vendor documentation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and interfaces within thermal power plant projects.
- Ability to identify design issues, engineering risks, and interface gaps and coordinate timely resolution.
- Good coordination skills for working with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
