Responsibilities Design and maintain I/O configurations. Support processor upgrades and CPC activations. Configure channels, control units, DASD, tape, and FICON infrastructure. Develop and maintain IOCDS definitions.

Technical and Professional Expertise HCDIOCPIOCDS Generation FICON Architecture DASD Configuration Tape Infrastructure CPC Hardware Design IPL Planning Channel Path Management Hardware Migration Planning GDPS Awareness Disaster Recovery Configuration Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and management. VMware ESX experience Public/private cloud management.



Especially migration from onprem to cloud solution Preferred Technical and Professional Experience IBM Z Mainframe Hardware and I/O Configuration certification or equivalent experience.

Strong experience with IBM HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IOCP (Input/Output Configuration Program).

Experience with FICON Director, SAN connectivity, and enterprise storage integration. Knowledge of IBM DASD technologies, including DS8000 and enterprise storage platforms.

Experience supporting IBM Z CPC upgrades, PR/SM, LPAR configurations, and processor migrations. Familiarity with GDPS, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability solutions.

Experience with z/OS IPL processes, HMC, and system activation procedures. Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex and multi-site mainframe environments.

Experience with hardware migration planning and data center transformation projects. Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools. Understanding of ITIL Change Management and enterprise infrastructure governance. Robust problem-solving, documentation, communication, and vendor coordination skills. Automation experience, especially Iaa S (infrastructure as a code)Vulnerability management Microsoft Active Directory and federation services
