Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced

UI Architect / Lead Developer

with 8+ years of experience in embedded GUI/HMI development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

Crank Storyboard Suite

and

Lua scripting

and will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing high-quality user interfaces for embedded HMI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Define the architecture and design of embedded HMI/UI solutions using

Crank Storyboard Suite . Develop, customize, and maintain advanced HMI screens and reusable UI components. Implement UI functionality, screen navigation, animations, and event handling using

Lua scripting . Establish UI frameworks, coding standards, and best practices for Storyboard-based applications. Optimize UI performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and graphical rendering on embedded platforms.



Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into production-ready HMI screens. Lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, and UI code quality initiatives. Mentor and guide HMI developers on Storyboard and Lua development. Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI-related issues across the product lifecycle.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Embedded HMI/GUI development. Expert-level knowledge of

Crank Storyboard Suite , Storyboard Engine, and associated libraries. Strong hands-on expertise in

Lua scripting

for HMI application development. Proven experience in UI software architecture and technical leadership. Robust understanding of HMI design principles, screen workflows, state management, and user interaction models. Experience creating reusable UI frameworks, widgets, and components. Familiarity with graphics optimization and performance tuning for embedded systems. Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
