nRole Overview

nWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior SQL Server DBA to manage and support enterprise database platforms across on-premise and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). The role is primarily centered around Microsoft SQL Server, while also requiring strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL and exposure to modern cloud-native database services.

nThe ideal candidate should operate as a cross-skilled senior DBA, capable of working across multiple database technologies, supporting both SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments in production, and contributing to cloud-native database operations. The role demands strong ownership of critical systems, along with the ability to adapt to evolving database platforms across relational and non-relational ecosystems.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. SQL Server Administration & Production Operations




n

n• Manage end-to-end SQL Server DBA operations across development, test, and production environments
n• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and workplace maintenance
n• Lead performance tuning efforts including execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and query optimization
n• Implement and support HA/DR solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, replication, clustering, and log shipping
n• Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery with periodic DR validations
n• Troubleshoot production issues including blocking, deadlocks, IO bottlenecks, and performance degradation
n2. Multi-Cloud & Managed Database Operations
n

n• Administration of databases on Azure SQL, Managed Instances, AWS RDS, and relevant GCP managed database services
n• Support high availability, scaling, failover, and backup strategies across cloud environments
n• Monitor
