Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications on the Liferay platform.

- Build and customize Liferay themes, layouts, portlets, and modules.

- Develop scalable and secure web applications using Liferay DXP/Portal.

- Implement custom workflows, content management solutions, and portal features.

- Develop REST and SOAP-based integrations with external systems and third-party applications.

- Configure and manage Liferay roles, permissions, sites, and user management features.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, UI/UX teams, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and portal-related issues.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Participate in deployment, release management, and production support activities.

- Create technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.

- Support portal modernization and upgrade initiatives.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in Liferay development.

- Solid hands-on experience with Liferay DXP or Liferay Portal.

- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and web technologies.

- Experience developing and customizing Liferay Portlets and OSGi modules.

- Knowledge of MVC architecture and portal development concepts.

- Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development.

- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
