Job Requirements

Role Overview

The Liaison Manager will act as a critical interface between the organization and various government authorities, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on interpreting policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, facilitating approvals, and driving smooth coordination across departments to enable timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Policy Interpretation &
- Guidance
- Interpret central, state, and local government policies related to real estate development.
- Provide clear, actionable guidance to internal teams on regulatory frameworks.
- Track changes in policies, regulations, and government notifications and assess their business impact.
- Policy Administration &
- Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, approvals, and licenses.
- Maintain documentation and records of approvals, NOCs, and regulatory filings.
- Develop and implement SOPs for regulatory compliance and approvals
- Government Liaisoning
- Build and maintain relationships with government departments and authorities such as:
- Development Authorities
- Municipal Corporations
- Revenue Departments
- Pollution Control Boards
- Fire &
- Safety Departments
- Coordinate for obtaining approvals, permits, and clearances.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a bridge between internal teams (Legal, Projects, Design, Sales) and external authorities.
- Facilitate communication and resolve bottlenecks in approval processes.
- Ensure alignment between project timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Approval Management
- Plan and track end-to-end approval processes for projects.
- Ensure timely submission of applications and follow-ups with departments.
- Identify risks/delays and proactively mitigate them.
- Risk Assessment &
- Advisory




- Identify regulatory risks and compliance gaps.
- Advise management on potential policy-related challenges and solutions.
- Support decision-making with insights on regulatory feasibility.
- Documentation &
- Reporting
- Maintain MIS reports on approval status and compliance.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on approvals, risks, and delays.
- Ensure audit readiness for all regulatory documentation.
