FOUNDING TEAM ROLE : ZiiP Founation

Location: Mumbai - Hybrid

ZiiP Foundation is looking for a Lead – Partnerships & Fundraising to join its founding team and build the Foundation’s fundraising and partnership function from the ground up.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building, shaping and creating, rather than stepping into an established function. You will work closely with the founders and play an key role not only in raising funds, but also in shaping how the Foundation grows, builds relationships and develops as an institution.

ABOUT ZiiP FOUNDATION

ZiiP Foundation is a not-for-profit organization working in the arts and culture space, with photography and visual culture at the heart of its work. Through exhibitions, education, research, publications and public programs, we aim to create greater access, visibility, representation and opportunity within photography and the visual arts.

THE ROLE

You will lead the development of ZiiP Foundation’s fundraising and partnership ecosystem across corporates, CSR, philanthropy, foundations, grants, sponsorships, family offices and individual patrons.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and executing the Foundation’s fundraising and partnerships strategy.
- Identifying and developing relationships with prospective donors, sponsors and institutional partners.
- Creating proposals, grant applications, sponsorship opportunities and partnership decks.
- Managing the fundraising pipeline from prospecting and outreach through to closure and relationship management.
- Researching relevant funding opportunities in India and internationally.
- Building long-term relationships with donors and partners.




- Working closely with the founders and program teams to translate ZiiP’s initiatives into compelling funding propositions.
- Helping shape the Foundation’s broader growth, partnerships and institutional development as part of the founding team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKNG FOR

We are looking for someone with approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience across fundraising, partnerships, CSR, philanthropy, sponsorships, institutional development or related areas.

You should have:

- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience developing and closing partnerships or funding opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and build processes from scratch.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in an evolving organization.

Given the nature of our work, we have a strong preference for candidates with experience in the arts and culture ecosystem — including foundations, museums, galleries, festivals, cultural institutions, photography organizations or related nonprofits.

An existing network across arts, culture, philanthropy, CSR or institutional funding would be an advantage.
