The role will work across Product, Subscriptions, Distribution, Analytics and
other cross functional teams to develop and drive initiatives across
subscription growth, fan engagement and new monetisation opportunities, helping
shape the strategy to grow Sports revenues.
Key Responsibilities
1 - Subscription Strategy
a) Digital
Partner with Product and Partnerships teams to maximise Sports subscription
revenues on JioHotstar.
Analyse viewership trends, fan behaviour, platform data and competitive
landscape to shape creative strategies for pricing, packaging and
subscriber acquisition.
b) Television
Partner with Distribution, Content and Marketing teams to help shape the
distribution strategy for Star Sports.
Evaluate channel packaging, pricing, market dynamics and consumer trends to
identify and implement opportunities that maximise distribution revenue from
the linear ecosystem.
2 - Fan Engagement & Platform Monetisation
Work with the Product team to develop interactive experiences such as
play-along games and other fan engagement propositions.
Identify opportunities to convert fan engagement into meaningful revenue
through platform partnerships and other monetisation initiatives.
Analyse fan behaviour across the viewing journey to identify opportunities to
increase engagement on JioHotstar.
3 - New Strategic Initiatives
Translate audience insights and emerging trends into actionable product and
business opportunities that create long term strategic opportunities.
Identify, evaluate and build business cases for current revenue opportunities
beyond traditional subscriptions.
Preferred Background
4 to 8 years of experience across subscriptions, product, growth, strategy
within digital consumer businesses.
Experience in industries such digital media, consumer tech, gaming, fantasy
sports, telecom, e-commerce or consulting with a strong digital focus.
