Job Purpose To manage laboratory operations, equipment readiness, calibration, maintenance, consumables, safety, ESD compliance and practical-session logistics for the training centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory schedules and equipment allocation.
- Maintain asset registers and calibration records.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective equipment maintenance.
- Ensure ESD, safety and housekeeping standards.
- Manage PPE, tools, consumables and spare parts.
- Support trainers during practical sessions.
- Maintain SOPs, checklists and incident records.
- Coordinate service vendors and equipment installation.
- Support procurement and acceptance testing of new instruments.
Required Skills Experience
- 5 10 years of experience in engineering laboratories, manufacturing, instrumentation, electronics or technical operations .
- Robust knowledge of electrical/electronics instrumentation, ESD, calibration, maintenance and laboratory safety.
- Good understanding of laboratory documentation and equipment management.
- Strong inventory and vendor-management skills.
