Role Purpose

NCS is looking for a core L3 Cloud Specialist to manage and support production cloud platforms, with strong focus on cloud operations, automation, observability, security and service reliability.

The role will provide advanced support for public, private or hybrid cloud environments, drive operational improvements, and work closely with application, data, platform and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 3 cloud support for production cloud platforms, including incident resolution, performance optimization and root cause analysis.
- Design, configure and manage cloud infrastructure and operational platforms.
- Support cloud services across compute, storage, networking, identity, security and monitoring.
- Implement monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent observability platforms.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards, alerts and cloud monitoring standards.
- Support automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or equivalent.
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for cloud platform deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues across cloud infrastructure, networking, security and application platform layers.
- Work with application, data and platform teams to improve cloud reliability, operational visibility and performance.
- Maintain cloud architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
- Robust hands-on experience supporting production multi cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience of understanding of:
- Cloud networking and security fundamentals
- Identity and access management
- Compute, storage and container services
- Monitoring, observability and centralized logging

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and application hosting layers.
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM and production support processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Experience with Kubernetes or managed Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, DataOps, MLOps or platform engineering.
- Experience operating private, public or hybrid managed cloud platforms.
- Experience supporting automation, self-service portals or cloud product roadmaps.
