Role Description The Junior Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based at SilverWorld in New Delhi. This position focuses on assisting customers in-store, understanding their preferences, and recommending suitable silver jewelry pieces that align with their style and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, explaining product features and pricing, handling sales transactions and billing, and maintaining merchandise displays to ensure the store is visually appealing. The role also involves managing basic inventory checks, supporting stock replenishment, and providing after-sales service and guidance.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with diverse customers.
- Sales and retail skills, including basic knowledge of sales techniques, upselling, and handling cash and digital transactions accurately.
- Product knowledge and visual merchandising skills, with an interest in jewelry, fashion, and the ability to present products attractively.
- Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple customers, maintain store cleanliness, and support inventory checks.
- Basic computer literacy for billing, point-of-sale systems, and maintaining sales records.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and peak festive seasons.
- Prior experience in retail or jewelry sales is preferred but not mandatory; a solid interest in learning and growing in sales is essential.
- Minimum high school diploma; further education in business, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
