Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Junior Officer - Engineering to join our Engineering Department at our Gozaria manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to build a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and plant engineering.

The incumbent will support the maintenance and operation of manufacturing equipment and utility systems, ensuring uninterrupted production, compliance with Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and adherence to safety standards. The role offers hands-on exposure to engineering operations, preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems.
- Execute preventive,



predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and maintain utilities such as HVAC systems, compressed air systems, purified water systems, electrical panels, DG sets, boilers, chillers, pumps, and air compressors.
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment and engineering systems.
- Maintain engineering documentation, equipment logbooks, maintenance records, and calibration records.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Identify equipment abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Support spare parts inventory management and coordinate with vendors for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, engineering standards, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Participate in engineering improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, efficiency, and energy conservation.
- Assist during regulatory inspections, internal audits, and customer audits by providing engineering documentation and technical support.




- Perform any other engineering-related duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Educational Qualification:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

- Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Internship or industrial training in pharmaceutical or process industries will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance concepts.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, utilities, and maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of GMP and engineering documentation in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and equipment manuals.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
