Role & responsibilities -

- Support day-to-day production and shop-floor activities.

- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to production schedules.

- Understand and follow sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.

- Assist in setting up and monitoring machines and production lines.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications.

- Monitor material usage, rejection, rework, and productivity.

- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

- Assist in identifying production problems and implementing corrective actions.

- Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.

- Support 5S, Kaizen, productivity improvement, and waste-reduction initiatives.

- Learn and follow company SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures.

Preferred candidate profile -

- BE/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- Freshers are encouraged to apply.

- Candidates with internship or project experience in manufacturing/production will be an added advantage.
