The Rakshin Project proposes to equip young college-going students with rights-based language and the nuances of gender equality within households and communities to prevent child sexual abuse within families and communities, and prepare these students for the workforce by building their capacity with orientations on the prevention of workplace sexual harassment. Since the inception of our project, we have reached over 1,20,000 students across the country from 1750 colleges and universities, spread across all the states. This is part of the ongoing project to reach 4 million youth (18 to 26 years) through a partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (NSS Directorate).

Sakshi is working towards a social tipping point to build an accountable ecosystem that encourages responsibility and communication to prevent child sexual abuse within families and communities, and workplace sexual harassment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Attend the Training of Trainer Session online, submit assignments, and get certified as a Junior
Trainer.
- Commit to a minimum deliverable for every month, including scheduling and conducting 2
sessions in Delhi NCR colleges and conducting 2 Rakshin Reflection sessions.
- To deliver in-person workshops and training workshops in a college or university across Delhi
NCR on the PoSH Act, 2013, and the POCSO Act, 2012.
