Position: Merchandiser – Europe & UK Market

Location: Borivali, Mumbai

Job Summary

Required experienced and dynamic Merchandiser to support the growth for Europe & UK business. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the European jewellery market, customer preferences, product development, and merchandising strategies. The role requires close coordination with Sales (Mumbai + Jaipur), Product Development, Design, and Production teams (Jaipur) to build commercially successful collections and support business expansion.

Experience

· Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience in the Europe & UK jewellery market (gold and Diamond/lab/CS Jewellery)

· Solid understanding of retail, wholesale, and B2B business models.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and manage jewellery collections aligned with Europe & UK market requirements.

· Conduct trend analysis and identify emerging fashion and category trends.

· Perform web analysis to monitor online assortments, product launches, and customer preferences.

· Carry out gap analysis to identify opportunities within the current product portfolio.

· Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark products, pricing, design direction, and market positioning.

· Support the Sales team by developing customer-specific presentations, curated collections,



and commercial product proposals.

· Work closely with the Product Development and Design teams to translate market insights into commercially viable products.

o Coordinate with sample development team and ensure timely delivery of samples for customer meetings and exhibitions.

o Participate in international exhibitions, customer meetings, and market visits as and when required.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of European and UK jewellery trends.

· Excellent product development and merchandising skills.

· Analytical mindset with experience in market research and data-driven decision-making.

· Proficiency in presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Canva)

· Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

· Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design or Merchandising will be an added advantage).

· Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

· Experience working with European retailers, buying groups, wholesalers, or brands is highly desirable.
