Position description: Join Visteon's IT Operations team as a Senior Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure that supports our automotive technology solutions. This position demands a seasoned qualified with deep expertise in IT operations, capable of ensuring system reliability, performance, and security in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with Visteon's commitment to excellence in automotive electronics and software development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud services to support automotive product development and business operations.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical IT issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business continuity.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks, standard operating procedures, and configuration management records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, cybersecurity, and quality assurance to implement IT solutions that meet automotive industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline IT operations processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to support scalable and resilient IT environments aligned with Visteon's growth objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure service level agreements are met and technology upgrades are effectively implemented.
- Participate in IT governance and risk management activities, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements specific to the automotive sector.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts and IT operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Educational qualifications preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations within the automotive or manufacturing industry, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise.
Required Certification/s:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) - Desirable.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Desirable.
