DESCRIPTION:

Key job responsibilities
Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily Java/React
Software deployment support in staging and production environments
Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
System and Support status reporting
Collaborate with Ops/Tech teams for issue resolution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:




2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Experience scripting in contemporary program languages
Experience in Unix
1+ year experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment
Experience in Java/React/shell scripts
Knowledge of Java based technologies
Ability to write intermediate level database queries. SQL skills.
Excellent documentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems
Ability to solve complex problems independently
Robust understanding of support processes - SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics.
Proven ability to write scripts and automation using Java
Understanding of the complete deployment life cycle from design, build, test, deploy
