International Travel Consultant – Sales & Customized Packages

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience: 1+ year in international travel sales / consultancy

About the Role

We are looking for an International Travel Consultant who can independently handle customers looking to travel internationally — from understanding their requirements to creating customized itineraries, preparing quotations, closing sales, and coordinating bookings.

This is NOT a pure ticketing role and NOT a domestic-travel-only position.

You should be comfortable working with international destinations and creating travel packages based on each customer's budget, preferences, duration, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer travel requirements and recommend suitable international destinations and itineraries.
- Create and customize international travel packages including flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, activities, and other travel services.
- Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and budget.
- Handle customer enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Handle international flight reservations and ticketing where required.
- Coordinate hotel, transfer, sightseeing, activity, and other travel bookings.
- Modify itineraries and packages based on customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate booking and customer records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and travel partners to ensure smooth trip execution.
- Provide post-booking support and handle customer queries until completion of the trip.

Requirements

- Prior experience in selling or handling international travel packages is mandatory.




- Ability to independently create and customize international itineraries.
- Experience handling international travel enquiries from initial consultation through booking.
- Strong knowledge of international destinations, hotels, flights, and travel products.
- Good understanding of international airfare and booking procedures.
- Experience with GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel options.
- Comfortable working with sales targets and converting leads into bookings.

Candidates whose experience is limited to domestic travel, basic flight ticketing, or ticket issuance without international package/itinerary customization experience will not be considered.
