Role Description The Interior Designer role is a full-time, in office position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating mood boards, and preparing detailed interior layouts that align with project requirements and client expectations. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), producing construction drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate implementation. The role involves meeting clients, presenting design proposals, refining solutions based on feedback, and overseeing site visits to monitor progress and quality.

The Interior

Designer will also support material selection, budgeting, and documentation to deliver functional,



aesthetically coherent spaces.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to develop concepts and translate them into cohesive designs.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and user experience within residential, commercial, or mixed-use interiors.
- Experience preparing and reading Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details.
- Knowledge of FF&E; selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop or similar tools).
- Strong visual communication skills, including 2D drawings and 3D presentations; ability to present ideas clearly to clients and project teams.
- Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
- Experience working on-site and coordinating with contractors and suppliers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region or similar markets is beneficial.
