Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Raipur.

The Interior

Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional needs, then translate these into cohesive design concepts and detailed plans. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, developing interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing construction drawings in alignment with architectural requirements. The role also involves site visits, coordination with contractors and vendors, and ensuring designs are executed to quality standards, timelines, and budget.

Designer will contribute creative ideas, maintain design consistency, and support Makemyspace’s mission of placing clients in the driver’s seat of their home design.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E; selection, with the ability to create cohesive, client-focused design concepts.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination to ensure functional and aesthetically sound layouts.
- Experience preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and technical documentation for project execution.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and current interior design trends, with attention to detail and quality.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Solid communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work on-site in Raipur with contractors and suppliers.
