Position: Interior Design Intern - Township Projects

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern who is keen to gain hands-on exposure to large-scale township and residential projects and wants to build a career in end-to-end project design and execution.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond basic design work and understand how a project moves from concept and detailed drawings to site execution and completion.

What You Will Get Exposure To

As part of the team, you will get practical exposure to:

Large-scale township and residential developments

Space planning and interior design development

Preparation and coordination of detailed working drawings

Architectural, interior and construction detailing

Furniture layouts, partition details, ceiling plans and elevations

Flooring, wall and finish details

Toilet and wet-area detailing

Door, window and joinery details

Coordination of MEP and other consultant drawings

BOQ, quantity understanding and material specifications

Site measurements and site coordination

Understanding drawings in relation to actual site conditions

Vendor and contractor coordination

Material selection and execution details

Site inspections and quality checks

Understanding the complete workflow from design → drawings → coordination → execution → handover

Key Requirement – Detailed Drawing Skills The candidate must have a solid understanding of detailed drawing creation and should be comfortable developing drawings that can actually be used for execution.

You should have good knowledge of:

AutoCAD

Detailed plans, elevations and sections

Construction and joinery details

Dimensioning and annotations

Furniture and interior detailing

Ceiling and flooring layouts





Toilet details and plumbing point coordination

Drawing standards and presentation

Reading and understanding architectural drawings

Strong AutoCAD and detailed drawing skills are essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Des / B.Arch / Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture or related field

Freshers and students with relevant experience may apply

Strong AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory

Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other design software will be an added advantage

- Good communication and coordination skills
