Role Description The Infection Control Nurse is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves monitoring, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control protocols across clinical and training facilities, in alignment with current evidence-based guidelines.

The Infection Control

Nurse will conduct routine infection surveillance, risk assessments, and audits, and will collaborate with medical and nursing teams to reduce healthcare-associated infections.

Responsibilities include educating staff and students on infection prevention practices,



updating policies and procedures, supporting outbreak investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The role also requires accurate documentation, reporting of infection data, and continuous quality improvement initiatives in infection control.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Infection Control and Infection prevention practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Nursing skills with experience in clinical care and patient safety.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
- Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing, with additional certification in Infection Control preferred.
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings, especially in infection prevention, quality, or epidemiology, is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and auditing skills, with attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Effective communication and training abilities to educate diverse clinical and academic teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities on-site.
