About the Role

Arbor Mobility is looking for an Industrial / Product Engineer to support the setup and development of our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with Arbor's engineering team, process consultants, equipment vendors, and other partners to translate manufacturing requirements into practical processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with process consultants and vendors on plant layout, production flow, equipment, tooling, and capacity planning.
- Support equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and production trials.
- Review manufacturing processes, layouts, cycle times, material flow, and line balancing.
- Work with the engineering team on Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA).
- Support development of SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and quality checkpoints.
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, quality, supply chain, consultants, and vendors.
- Identify manufacturing challenges and opportunities for cost, quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Gradually take on broader responsibilities across industrial engineering, manufacturing, and plant operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing,



industrial engineering, production, or product engineering.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, plant layouts, production lines, material flow, and capacity planning.
- Experience working with consultants, equipment suppliers, or manufacturing teams preferred.
- Strong coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

About The Company

Arbor Mobility is a 2W EV start-up based out of Bengaluru, India. We at Arbor Mobility are developing a performance two-wheeler EV motorcycle. The three Co-Founders have done their Masters in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and have worked for various Automotive companies in India and the USA and are now determined to create something exciting in the EV space.

The company was started in November, 2022 and is now rapidly expanding. We, at Arbor Mobility are trying to answer the basic question of how to increase the adoption of EVs in India. EV usage is a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour.

It requires us to think how to tackle the issues such as charging, range anxiety & safety for a consumer. We at Arbor Mobility think it is essential to make it easy for the customers to switch to EVs. Hence, we have taken an innovative customer centric approach for our product development.
