Job Title: Incubation Associate

About the Role

Alliance University Technology Business Incubator (TBI) is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage government grants, startup schemes, hackathons, innovation challenges and other opportunities for student startups. The role involves end-to-end ownership — from identifying relevant opportunities to coordinating applications, managing documentation, working with university departments and ensuring timely submission and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify relevant government grants, funding schemes, startup programs, hackathons, competitions and innovation challenges for student startups.
- Evaluate opportunities based on startup stage, sector, eligibility and potential value.
- Manage the complete application process from prospect identification to submission and post-submission follow-up.
- Coordinate with student founders to collect and prepare required information, documents, pitch decks, financials and application material.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Finance, Legal, Research, Administration, Communications and other university stakeholders for required approvals and documentation.
- Liaise with government bodies, incubators, accelerators, corporates and external program organizers.
- Maintain trackers for opportunities, applications, deadlines,



documentation and outcomes.
- Ensure applications are accurate, complete, compliant and submitted well before deadlines.
- Support startups participating in hackathons, pitch competitions and innovation challenges.
- Build and maintain a structured grants & opportunities pipeline for Alliance University TBI.
- Develop processes, checklists and templates to improve the efficiency and success rate of applications.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in startup ecosystems, grants, incubation, program management, business development or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem and government funding landscape is preferred.
- Excellent research, documentation and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple startups, applications and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple university departments and external stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of tasks.
- Ability to understand complex guidelines and convert them into clear action points.
