ABOUT THE ROLE
We call it Solution Engineering — pairing a well-made commutator with application engineering built around the customer's actual end use. This Design Engineer / Application Engineer / NPD Engineer role owns that second half, across our commutator and slip ring range and into PMDC, BLDC,



universal motor and appliance applications.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Take a customer drawing, sample or motor specification and assess manufacturability
Prepare and manage all technical drawings
Run programs through feasibility, design freeze, prototype, trial and PPAP submission
Prepare APQP deliverables — design FMEA, control plan inputs, drawing packs — for Quality review and approval
Produce and review GD&T-correct; 2D production drawings and 3D models
Maintain revision discipline, obsolescence control and a clean drawing-to-part-number map
Handle direct technical discussion with OEM engineering teams on application requirements
Raise and negotiate deviation requests and tolerance changes with supporting data
Work with process and tool engineering so designs are mouldable, curable, turnable and slot-cuttable at volume
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Diploma with strong hands-on NPD exper
