HR Operations & Payroll Specialist
Shift: Night Shift (US/Canada Time Zone Support)
Location: Ghatkopar West
Experience Required: 3–7 Years (Flexible)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end HR operational processes, payroll coordination, and compliance support for employees across the United States and Canada.
This role requires strong expertise in HR administration, statutory compliance, payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, and supporting HR operations during night shift hours aligned with North American business timelines.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
● Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, documentation, employee records, and exit processes
● Maintain accurate HR data in HRMS and ensure timely updates
● Support employee queries related to HR policies, benefi ts, payroll, and compliance
● Coordinate background verifi cation, offer documentation, and employment letters
Payroll Management (US & Canada)
● Handle monthly payroll processing support for US & Canadian employees
● Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements
● Ensure payroll accuracy and timely closure with external payroll vendors/partners
● Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related concerns
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
● Ensure adherence to HR compliance requirements for US & Canada (Federal & Provincial/State level)
● Support audits, compliance reporting, and statutory fi lings
● Maintain updated knowledge of labor laws, payroll tax requirements, and employment regulations
● Ensure documentation and processes meet compliance standards
HR Policy & Process Excellence
● Support implementation and improvement of HR operational SOPs
● Assist in HR audits, internal process reviews, and compliance checks
● Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders globally for HR operations efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifi cations
● Strong experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance (US/Canada exposure mandatory)
● Good understanding of payroll structures, taxation basics, benefi ts administration
● Familiarity with HRMS platforms and payroll tools
● Excellent communication skills for employee support across geographies
● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced night shift environment
● Strong attention to detail, confi dentiality, and process orientation
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience in an MNC, shared services, or global HR operations setup
● Knowledge of US payroll systems (ADP, Workday, Paychex etc.) is a plus
● Exposure to Canadian payroll compliance and provincial regulations is an advantage
Shift Details
● This is a Night Shift role, supporting US & Canada business hours
● Working days: [5 Days / Rotational]
● Shift timings: [Example: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST]
