About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR activities for our warehouse operations in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations for approximately 100 employees, including warehouse staff, supervisors, team leaders, and office employees. This is a highly operational role requiring strong employee-handling skills and the ability to independently manage day-to-day HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for warehouse and office positions.
- Handle manpower planning and ensure timely fulfilment of vacancies.
- Manage employee joining, onboarding, induction, and documentation.
- Monitor daily attendance, shifts, weekly offs, leave, overtime, and absenteeism.
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing and provide accurate payroll inputs.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave, and company policies.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records, HR files, and HRMS data.
- Handle employee grievances and maintain good employee relations.
- Coordinate disciplinary actions and issue warning/related HR letters when required.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
- Coordinate probation confirmation and performance appraisal processes.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate employee training.
- Manage resignation, exit interviews, clearance, relieving letters, and full-and-final settlement.
- Prepare regular HR MIS reports including headcount, attendance, absenteeism, attrition, recruitment, overtime, leave, and employee movement.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and management to resolve manpower and employee-related issues.
- Ensure implementation of company HR policies and workplace discipline.

What We Are Looking For





- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
- 2+ years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or other operational environments is preferred.
- Good knowledge of recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee relations.
- Working knowledge of PF, ESI, and applicable labour compliance.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and HRMS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle employees at different levels and resolve workplace issues.
- Should be proactive, organized, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR activities simultaneously.
