About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager cum Highway Design to lead an India-based highway design team delivering projects for the Danish market. The role will be responsible for technical delivery, team management, quality control and close coordination with project managers and design teams in Denmark.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of highway/road design engineers working on Danish projects.
- Deliver highway and road designs in accordance with Danish Road Standards (Vejregler) and project-specific requirements.
- Design, review and guide geometric design including alignments, profiles, cross-sections, junctions, roundabouts and interchanges.
- Coordinate closely with Denmark-based project managers, discipline leads and clients.
- Ensure timely delivery of design packages and effective closure of review comments.
- Mentor engineers and build technical capability within the India team.




- Contribute to standardization of workflows, QA procedures and digital design processes.

Qualifications

- Degree in Civil / Transportation / Highway Engineering.
- 10–12+ years of relevant highway/road design experience, with experience managing a design team.
- Experience in international projects; Danish/European project experience is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of Vejregler / Municipality Road design standards or willingness and ability to develop strong knowledge of them.
- Experience with major highways, motorways, urban roads, junctions or infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Open Roads, MicroStation and familiarity with BIM/digital engineering workflows.
